HistoryPilots - Spirit of bygone Times
Historic models often take months and years for construction. When completed they revive a piece of history. Such models deserve to get very unique scale pilots. Our HistoryPilots do not only look good, but the faces are sculpted to render famous historic pilots.
Heini Dittmar (1911-1960)
About 80 years ago a young german pilot only little elder than 20 years impressed the young glider pilots scene. Altitude and cross-country records, but also the first flight across the alps made Heini Dittmar famous. As a test pilot amoungst other types he flew the Me 163 Komet and was the first man to travel at more than 1000km/h. We sculpted him and made him available for the friends of historic gliders in scale 1:2.5 and 1:3.
